When it comes to writing, what I like to do is to share the passions of others through storytelling. I enjoy explaining how things work, simplifying the complicated and being able to show readers a perspective they can’t usually see. No day is the same and there’s always a new story to share, which, to me, is exciting.
I have written for publications throughout Delaware and Maryland. Right now I write for APG News, the news service at the U.S. Army’s Aberdeen Proving Ground. Before that, I covered southwest Baltimore County, Maryland, for the Baltimore Sun Media Group. Prior to that, I spent nearly five years in Bethany Beach, Delaware, writing about coastal Delaware and Maryland for the USAToday Network’s Delmarva Media Group, home of DelmarvaNow.com and The Daily Times, Delaware Wave, Delaware Coast Press and Beachcomber newspapers.
I am a graduate of the University of Delaware with a B.A. in communication (mass communication concentration) and minors in English and journalism.
In my spare time, I enjoy going to baseball games. Give me a scorecard and a camera, and I’m set. Visit ABeautifulDayForBaseball.com to see some of my baseball photos. I also enjoy eating fish tacos, which I’ve documented over the years at FishTacblog.com.
Thanks for visiting.
